Why can’t I find a permit for my property?
The permit may not be issued yet. The app only displays "Open" status permits.
How current is the data in the app?
Our data comes directly from the City of Boston’s Inspectional Services Department (ISD) and is updated daily.
Can I apply for a new permit through this app?
No. This app is for viewing and tracking permits only. To apply for a permit, visit the Boston Permitting Portal.
What types of permits can I view?
I’m a contractor. Can I track permits I’ve filed?
Yes, you can search your permits like anyone else.
